Brightening this little corner of my world started with a thank you card from my mother.

Main level bathroom  of the Wilson Farmstead in Colorado that was a kitchen pantry in the 1919 era and on the plans for the house in 1914. Started by putting up a thank you card from my mother, Janet Polley that said,  "You brighten the corner where you are". It had a sunflower on it. My sister gave me a nice gold frame mirror (not pictured) and I got carried away adding golden things to the bathroom. There is a hidden pocket door on the right side top. It used to be the entrance to the pantry. May you start with a little something and brighten the corner where you are today. #Encouragement #Beforeandafter #oldhouse

Animation of changes at the 1914 Homestead Cottage

Just thought I would try to share an animation of how the 1914 Homestead Cottage rescue is coming along. Most of the photos are of the South wall. I did just notice that the one with Rocky in it is of the north wall and maybe a few others of that wall are accidently included. Just experimenting to see if this is a good way to show the before after and during. A collage just did not allow for enough of the changes to be seen. A master carpenter named Joseph L. has been helping us and just donated his first 12 hours of wok on top of what he is getting paid to do.
